
Dr. Katerina Kyriakou
DERMATOLOGIST - VENEREOLOGIST
Dr. Katerina Kyriakou is a specialised Dermatologist - Venereologist. She was born in Thessaloniki and graduated from Anatolia College in 2001. She excelled in the nationwide examinations and was admitted to the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), graduating in 2007. She pursued a two-year postgraduate degree at the Medical School of AUTh titled "Medical Research Methodology." Subsequently, she completed her doctoral thesis and was awarded the title of Doctor of the Medical School of AUTh in 2015, with distinction. She completed her specialisation in Dermatology - Venereology at the Second University Dermatology Clinic of AUTh at Papageorgiou General Hospital in Thessaloniki, and further trained at University Dermatology Clinics in Italy and Germany (Sapienza University Of Rome, Italy, and Jena University Hospital, Germany). Additionally, she attended specialised programs in Pediatric Dermatology and Dermatological Allergies at A. Syngros Hospital in Athens, as well as seminars on Dermatoscopy and the field of "Clinical Trials and Research" in Athens and Thessaloniki, earning Certificates from Cambridge University Hospitals.
Since 2010, Dr. Kyriakou has been a Scientific Associate of the Second University Dermatology Clinic of AUTh, while since 2016 she has been a Lecturer in the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program of AUTh (School of Medicine and School of Physical Education and Sport Science), titled "Exercise and Health."
Dr. Kyriakou's specific scientific fields include Psoriasis, Autoimmune Skin Diseases, and Pediatric Dermatology.
Her passion for continuous expansion of her scientific training motivates her ongoing research activity, continuous participation in International and Nationwide Conferences, scientific paper writing, and participation in clinical trials.
She is a member of the International Dermoscopy Association, the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology (HSDV), the Medical Association of Thessaloniki, and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).
